2 Cops Approach A Suspicious Car. What Happens Next? WOW.. 197,331 SHARES In 24 Hours.

On March 30, 2016, the Huntington Beach Police Department received a call about a suspicious vehicle. Officer Zach Pricer and Officer Scott Marsh were sent to investigate the situation. As they arrived on the scene, things took an unexpected turn.

There was a woman and her 11-year-old daughter in the car. It turns out that they’re homeless and have no place to live. Officer Marsh quickly contacted the Homeless Task Force and began making arrangements for housing.

While these arrangements were being made, the other officer, Pricer, did something that is now going viral on Facebook. He decided to play a game of hopscotch with the 11-year-old. Officer Pricer explained all the rules to the little girl and then showed her how it’s done.

While such a thing may seem silly/unprofessional on the outside, Officer Pricer did it for a very good reason. He realized the situation was emotionally tough on the little girl. In hopes of taking her mind off of it, he started the game.

It was a very thoughtful gesture from Officer Pricer. He could have easily ignored the child and pretended nothing was wrong. Instead, he did the compassionate thing and addressed the feelings of the child.

We tip our hats off to Officer Pricer for his act of kindness. He is the living embodiment of the police officers oath to “protect and serve”. Take a look below to see the special moment.
