Ney Dimaculangan the front man of the OPM rock band 6 Cycle Mind goes solo.
Ney has been with his former band mates 6 Cycle Mind for ten years with hits like Sandalan, Biglaan, Kasalanan, Prinsesa (original by Teeth) and the revival of 80’s hit song Upside Down.
According to news, Ney signed up with Star Records and composed his own songs for his upcoming self-titled album. The album features “Sana,” “Shut Up,” and “Sama Sama,” plus two bonus tracks, “Kaya Mo” (the theme song to the animated movie RPG Metanoia) and “Walang Hanggan” (a duet with Yeng Constantino used as the love theme in the teleserye Imortal).
Ney denies the reports that he and his former bandmates are in rift and they were in fact supportive to his decision of going solo, he says
Reason for going solo
“Artistic freedom“, Ney explains
