What you’re about to see is currently one of the most viral stories on Facebook. In a mere 24 hours, it has received well over 100,000 likes and 20,000 shares. We think you’re going to absolutely love it.
As one man sat in the living room with his family, something special happened. His daughter, Joselyn, asked if he could take her doll, Abbie, to work with him. She claimed that Abbie really wanted to go trucking with her “grandpa”.
While many parents may laugh off such a silly request, the man decided to go through with it! He brought the doll with him on the truck and documented the entire process for Joselyn. Take a look below to see the adorable photos.
“Last night, Joselyn our 9 year old daughter asked if I would babysit “Abbie ” for her today. “She really wants to go trucking with her Grandpa ” This morning before I leave, she reminds me I’m babysitting today. Well being the good “Grandpa” I agree to take her. We decided to have a little fun and post pictures of our travels.”
“I didn’t want Joselyn thinking I threw Abbie in the sleeper and forgot about her. She has been sending instructions via Facebook all day. Abbie and Grandpa have had a good day, and glad we could bring a little entertainment to our friends.”
He made sure to treat Abbie well. Here she is with some snacks.

While these photos are undoubtedly cute, the real gem here is the gesture behind them. They speak volumes about the man as a father. He spent his whole day working with a doll just to put a smile on his daughter’s face!
Pass on the smiles. Share this story with your friends and family.
In order to clear up some confusion: The reason he is refereed to as grandpa throughout the post is because young Joselyn sees Abbie as her daughter. Therefore Joselyn’s father is Abbie’s grandpa.
