Andrea Bocelli to perform at Central Park on September 15 for FREE.

You read it right! It’s free. The highly praised tenor singer Andrea Bocelli will be performing a free concert on September 15 Central Park’s Great Lawn, Thursday, with the New York Philharmonic.


Alan Gilbert, Andrea’s music director will be the conductor in the said concert as a special gift to New York City.

Andrea Bocelli’s concert will surely be a once in a lifetime musical event and will be recorded in high definition by Thirteen for WNET for national PBS broadcast on GREAT PERFORMANCES in late fall 2011. The recorded Andrea Bocelli Live in Central Park concert  will be released on CD and DVD by Sugar/Decca this November according to their website
