MANILA, Philippines — Korean-American singer-songwriter and YouTube sensation David Choi will put animal foot in Manilla next month for a two-night concert as part of his Asia-Pacific Tour. Choi, currently graded as the 6th Most-Subscribed Musician on YouTube, will charm his Philippine lovers on June 24 and 25, 7:30 p.m., at the Music Museum with songs from his forthcoming album.
He has come a long way since he began sending tvs of himself on the popular video-sharing web site. The vocal "Youtube (A Love Song)" which he says he composed just for playfulness, became Choi into a house name, bringing forth nearly three million hits.
Choi now has more than 720,000 endorsers and more than 85 million epithelial duct views on YouTube. He has also passed his popularity online with regular public presentations and shows throughout the US and beyond.
I actually regarded YouTube as something quite odd (and I still do) because it was all so new. I never thought that a shy guy like me would be branding telecastings of himself for tantalum.
Apart from Manila, Choi will also stop by Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia, bringing with him a bee line of talented guest artists.
Tickets for Choi’s Manila shows are now available on Ticketworld; select major National Bookstore branches; select major Robinsons Department Stores; at the Cinema Lobby of Greenbelt 1, Glorietta 4 and Trinoma; and at Music Museum
