They say that dreams are born out of our subconscious trying to process our thoughts. It speaks to what our mind really wants to happen, particularly in our real lives, while we’re awake and immersed in the reality.
But did you know that having the same dream on different nights actually mean something? There are dreams that reccur to us on a nightly basis which leaves us wondering-— why do I have these dreams and what do they all really mean?
According to Facebook fan page The Controversial Files, if you’re having repeated dreams of falling, it might mean that you’re actually facing major problems either in your work, relationships or in some aspect of your life.
Meanwhile, if you’re having dreams of death or dying, it’s actually harmless—- it means that you’re undergoing a dramatic change in life or something that’s going to greatly affect how your life’s going right now.
If you have dreams of being naked in public, don’t freak out. It means that you’re feeling vulnerable and exposed, either in the workplace, in a new environment, or something where you’re afraid or embarrassed to show your true colors or who you really are.
If you have dreams of your having your teeth falling apart, it means that there is something in your life that is making you lose your confidence.
For example, you may be afraid of losing that relationship with your partner whom you’ve been with for several years, as both of you are facing a serious problem in real life.
Meanwhile, if you have dreams of meeting a celebrity or a famous star, it actually means that you have a personal need for recognition. You want people to recognize you in whatever you’re doing in your life, so you dream of having someone popular praise or acclaim you.
If you always dream of being late, it means that you are wasting your time on something unnecessary and that, you are probably missing out on something useful or important in life.
This means that you should attend to that significant aspect so that you wouldn’t be bothered and stressed as much in real life.
If you dream of having to take an exam, you are evaluating your own performance in something, like how the way you’re working or how you’re handling your relationships with friends or family members.
If you dream of running and something or someone is chasing you, then it means that you are facing an issue which you’re running away from or trying to avoid. It could be anything from a big presentation to a confrontation with your significant other.

If you dream of having to fly, meanwhile, it means that there is something in your life that you need to let go of—this usually points to relationships or your current career. You need to reevaluate something and see if you really need to let go of that aspect so that you could improve your life.
If you dream of having to drive an uncontrolled car, or you dream of driving a car recklessly, then it means that there are things in your life which you cannot control. Possible factors might include the conflict that you’re facing in work, particularly if involves a big issue with supervisors.
