In a news video report from ABS-CBN, supporters of Senator Grace Poe staged a protest in Baguio City after the organizers failed to deliver the 500-peso incentive to every supporter that showed up in campaign rally of the presidential aspirant.

The supporters proceeded immediately to the Igorot Park in Baguio City to stage the protest.

A vocal Grace Poe supporter talks to the media to vent his anger at the organizers.

Ngayon Maam wala kaming napala.

Grace Poe supporters admitted to the ABS-CBN reporter that they were called on several occasions for campaign rallies but it was the party of Mark Go who speaks in the campaign rallies.

The ABS-CBN reporter tried to contact the camp of Mark Go who is running for a Congressional seat, for a reaction but as of this writing, Go’s camp told ABS-CBN news that he has nothing to do with the national issues and he is not a party mate of Senator Grace Poe.

Furthermore, ABS-CBN tried to contact Senator Grace Poe’s campaign coordinator in Baguio City in the person of Donna Gallardo for a statement in response to the allegation of Poe’s supporters, but the latter refuses to respond to ABS-CBN’s request.

A video footage from ABS-CBN showed that Donna Gallardo reached out to the protesters in Igorot Park.

According to the investigation conducted by the ABS-CBN reporter, Ms. Gallardo is allegedly the same person who recruited the disgruntled supporters of Grace Poe.

Ramin Macapuno speaks to the ABS-CBN reporter on behalf of fellow Grace Poe supporters to express their frustrations for not getting what is due to them.

( We asked Maam Donna directly Maam if they submitted our attendance sheet to the national government and if there is money at the disposal of the national campaigners and she responded in the affirmative. And now Maam if indeed there is money, hopefully, they will reimburse what we spend on transportation but until now it appears all our efforts are in vain.)

Another supporter identified as Joker Albing narrated his experience to the ABS-CBN reporter.

We bought a white shirt. We were told that if you are not wearing a white shirt, you are not welcomed to join the campaign rally unless you are a card bearer. So I bought a white t-shirt for 120 pesos. So I’ve waited. I did not eat. I’ve waited for nothing.

According to the Comelec, this can be considered as vote-buying because money was promised as an incentive but the protesters should lodge a formal case before the poll body.

However, the protesters are still weighing their options whether to file a formal case or not.
