Last Friday morning, February 4, 2017, actress Lotlot de Leon was brought to a hospital in Alabang. The actress was reportedly enduring a fever while wrapping up filming for a new television show from GMA. The television show is entitled ‘Destined to be Yours’
The actress admitted that she was already feeling under the weather before heading to the filming location.
De Leon said the following in an interview from a well-known news source online:
“Actually po, umaga pa lang, sa bahay pa lang, medyo masama na ang pakiramdam ko.”
“Pero since may taping nga ako, hindi ko pinansin, inisip ko nung una giniginaw lang ako.” The filming location for that day was at Shaw Boulevard. Later, the cast and crew moved to K-2 in Kamuning, Quezon City.
However, as the taping proceeded, it was becoming apparent that Lotlot’s chills are not something to brush off. She developed a fever soon after. The director and other members of the production started to get worried. It was clear that she would not be able to continue working for that day due to her condition.
She initially thought that there was no real need to go to the hospital. However, the chills and fever only got worse early the next day. Her partner, Lebanese Businessman Fadi El Soury decided to bring her to a hospital.
But fans need not worry. As of this writing, the actress has been declared safe from harm. She was permitted to go home when her fever went down.
