An open letter asking UN rapporteur Dr. Agnes Callamard to investigate extra-judicial killings that transpired under Pnoy administration goes viral online.
By the way, UN rapporteur Dr. Agnes Callamard was spotted attending the 30th anniversary of the Commission of Human Rights.
Dr. Callamard is all smiles as reporters hounded her seeking to get a short statement regarding her visit in the country.
On Twitter, GMA News reporter TJ Roxas shared the photos of Callamard being approached by journalists for interview but she declined according to Roxas.

The UN rapporteur slipped into the country unnoticed but as they say, in the age of social media, no one remains anonymous for long especially when you are a public personality.
The Callamard visit sparked speculation on social media that the UN rapporteur is in the country to conduct a secret probe on the alleged extra-judicial killings under the Duterte administration.
On Facebook. SocMed blogger MJ Quiambao Reyes took to Facebook to air her sentiment via an open letter. Please read the full text of the letter below.
Dear Dr. Agnes Callamard,
I really hope you will also look into the killings which transpired during B.S. Aquino’s time.
Allow me to provide you with some data which you may want to check with Mr. Gascon, Mrs. de Lima, and Mrs. Robredo.
Before Duterte came to power, there were already killings. In fact, the number of murder & homicide cases then was way higher compared to present. Worse, many of the poor victims then were non-criminals. Some of the most gruesome incidents were, in fact, perpetrated by people under the influence of drugs.
Murder & Homicide (before Duterte):
2010 – 12,352
2011 – 11,864
2012 – 11,506
2013 – 16,160
2014 – 13,105
2015 – 12,481

Also, there was a surge on the following:
• Riding in Tandem Victims: 65% increase from 2010 to 2013
• Rape Cases (reported) : 92% increase from 2010 to 2014
Worse, 70% of the rape victims were children.
• Total Reported Crimes: 380% increase from 2011 to 2014
Even worse, while the crime rate continued to swell to an alarming level during previous admin, the crime solution efficiency rate dropped to an unacceptable level:
• Crime Solution Efficiency Rate: From 89.86% in 2004 down to 28.56% in 2013
Sure there was economic growth owing to our increased population–but one that was too exclusive among the rich and the powerful which made the rich, richer and the mighty, mightier. Meanwhile, the poor and the restless were left to either pick up the crumbs or worse, resort to crimes, peddle drugs, and engage in other illegal activities.
Our country was in a loathsome situation. It was because of that situation and the gross incompetence and indifference of previous admin that the Filipino people clamored for a Duterte. It was largely due to the above situation that the then Mayor Duterte decided to run for President.
Now, our current government is moving heaven and earth to try to clean up the huge mess that the past admin either brought or left behind.
Please do not let the losing party use you in their effort to bring the government down and get themselves back to power.
Meanwhile, maang-maangan na naman ang mga dilaw! Kelan ba kayo titigil sa pagiging ipokrita?
Nabigla at di raw naman inimbita ang UN Special Rapporteur on Extra-Judicial Killings Agnes Callamard yet kasa-kasama nyo and she’s attending the forum tomorrow in UP Diliman–a forum co-sponsored by CHR.
