President Duterte has been the favorite whipping boy of international media even before he assumed the Presidency in 2016.
His latest imported critic is none other than Anders Corr, whose latest article published on Forbes.com entitled, “New Philippine Debt of $167 Billion Could Balloon To $452 Billion: China Will Benefit” tried to achieve two things – create fear among Filipinos and undermine Duterte by attacking his economic policy called Dutertenomics. [Forbes]
According to him, “Dutertenomics, fueled by expensive loans from China, will put the Philippines into virtual debt bondage if allowed to proceed.”
The ultimate aim? Go figure.
But, who is Anders Corr anyway?
The Facebook post of social media blogger Krizette Laureta Chu will give us a clue about Mr. Corrs.
Please read post below.
Anders Corr has done or said nothing positive about Duterte government.
Think he is just your regular journalist or columnist, unbiased and just very truthful in his job? Maybe.
But Anders Corr is, as a matter of fact, a paid analyst.
YOU CAN PAY HIM TO “ANALYZE.” Government clients, hmmm…
So where does his bias against Duterte come from?
I’m just curious.
The fun part is reading the reaction of netizens who played a guessing game to identify the client paying the bill to destroy Duterte.
Joy Jimenez wrote: “I wonder who is wasting their money on him. Hasn’t the LP gotten tired of banging their heads up against the wall yet? Am curious as well!”
Jake Perez commented: “Hello loida ang dami mo talagang pera ha, sana maubos na at maghirap kn Leche”
Elmer Antonio remarked: “where does the bias come from? i guess it comes from LP aka loida punyeta ”
Oeve Perez said: “It comes from LP minions in the USA and in PH ;)”
Nathan Daniel Reese wrote: “I saw his FB page before and he is friends with Mely, Loida, et. al”
What’s your guess?
