Martin Tanaka is the owner of Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Recently, he put up a sign and now some people are calling it racist.

While some are bothered by it, Tanaka said most of his customers agree with what he did. Since his restaurant has hibachi-style seating, customers often have to share a table with total strangers.
He wants people to understand that it is important to show respect to others when they are dining in his restaurant.
Offended by the sign, a local resident said:

Tanaka explains that his sign has absolutely nothing to do with race and regardless of what race they are, if they break the rules, they will be asked to leave.
