As Washington native, Barbara Danner, pulled up at a Dutch Bros. drive thru, she noticed something strange. The car in front of her was holding up the line for an abnormally long period of time. From the distance, it looked like the driver was just rudely chatting away with one of the employees.
However, that’s when things took a strange turn. Out of no where, two more employees peeked out of the drive thru window. They suddenly grabbed the driver’s hand and bowed their heads in silence for several minutes.
Barbara quickly snapped a picture of the moment. When the line started moving again, she asked the employees about the hold up. It turns out that the driver lost her 37-year-old husband last night and was falling apart emotionally.
Dutch Bros. employees stopped everything in order to help the woman. They prayed for her and even asked her to comeback if she ever needs more support. It was an unbelievably beautiful moment.
When Barbara posted the picture online, it quickly went viral on social media. In just four days, it has been shared over 112,000 times. People from across the globe have been touched by the kindness of Dutch Bros. employees.
