‘Stillborn’ Baby Comes Back to Life in Pagadian, But Dies a Day Later after Hospital Allegedly Refused to Help

A family in Pagadian City, southern Philippines is mourning the death of their baby who was declared dead when it was born at Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center but later ‘came back to life’ while they were preparing to have it buried!

According to the child’s father, the baby was born premature at just 6 months of pregnancy last March 18, at around 11PM. The doctors told them it was stillborn and they sadly prepared to have the baby buried. But when they had a coffin prepared for the baby and was ready to put it in the grave, the child seemed to show signs of life; so they rushed it back to the hospital.

The staff of the hospital admitted that the child did have a heartbeat when the family brought it back to the emergency room but it was too weak to live. But the child’s father accused the staff of refusing to help them and just repeatedly telling them that the child was dead when it was born and that it was dying anyway because its heartbeat was too weak.

Sadly, the baby died the following day at noon. The family is distraught over the incident as they believe the child could have been saved if only the hospital staff did not declare it dead and worked hard to save it at birth.
