Four days before Valentines day, a father was arrested for allegedly hatching a murder for insurance money of his Filipina wife and daughter.
The Filipina is identified by the Daily Mail UK as Rhoda Mee Funtanilla which her Facebook account shows she is from Pilar, Abra.
The murder plot was discovered after the American from Monroe, Washington wrongly sent the SMS text to his former boss, who immediately called the police.
According to the website KIRO7.com, the American identified as Jeff Lytle sent a text message asking someone named “Shayne” to kill his family for the insurance money.
Jeff promised the hired killer to split the $1.5 million dollar insurance policy in half.
Monroe detectives obtained the documents via a court subpoena showing Jeff texting the alleged hitman to kill his family.
“Hey Shayne hows it going. You remember you said that you would help me kill my wife. I’m going to take you up on that offer.”
“– life insurance is worth 1 million and if you want a bounes you can kill [JL]. Her life insurance is 500K.”
“—if you can make it look like a robbery gone wrong or make it a accident she works at Walmart she gets off at 11:00.”

Monroe police nabbed Jeff, 42 at his home on February 8, Wednesday, afternoon for investigation of two counts of criminal solicitation for murder in the first degree, domestic violence.
By Thursday afternoon, Jeff appeared before the Snohomish County court, and the judge set the bail at $1 million.
A roommate of Jeff told KIRO 7 that it could be a misunderstanding.
“He’s not going to do something like that,” said his roommate German Ellano.
According to court documents obtained by KIRO 7, Jeff claimed wrote those texts to “vent” and that he had no intention of sending them to anyone, that it must have been a mistake.
Jeff also told investigators that his daughter might have sent the text messages but police investigators did not buy Jeff’s alibi.
