A Canadian reporter tried to impose the Westerner’s view on ‘human rights’ to the Duterte administration during an interview with Mocha Uson but her attempts fall flat on her face.
The video started with the female reporter telling Mocha Uson that the reported killings in Duterte’s war on drugs is alarming to her and the Western media.
“Think about the real images and in Facebook too, I mean, in your mind, I, you know you take up the newspapers and when you look at the images and pictures in the drug wars, it’s heartbreaking, right? You see those people, dying…a lot of people dying here.”
Mocha interrupted the Canadian reporter by asking to state a figure, “How many now?”
The Canadian reporter replied, “I haven’t seen the latest.”
When Mocha cited about the tally from the Inquirer and other anti-Duterte newspapers, around 7,000 alleged EJK’s, the Canadian reporter feigned an expression of surprise after what Mocha told her.
Mocha told the Canadian reporter that when Duterte announced that he has a list of 6,000 narco-politicians, complete with pictures and names.
Mocha Uson lamented that Duterte’s critics could not do the same.
The Canadian reporter replied that the Philippine Daily Inquirer has kept a ‘kill list’ containing the names, dates and time of the drug suspects allegedly in Duterte’s war on drugs.
Mocha interrupted the Canadian reporter and told her that she is not in the position to answer the reporter’s question since she is not the government spokesperson.
At this point, Mocha Uson advised the Canadian reporter to do more research about the alleged EJK’s in the Philippines because Mocha said that using the word ‘kill list’ is wrong.
Let us check out how the social media reacts.
Renz Alfonso commented: Yan ang foreigners, kapag napapahiya na, magmamatigas na lang parang ipwersa sayo ang opinion nila. Nung sinabi ni mocha ‘you need to do more research’ about the killings before and present parang natameme si madam at nag come back na lang kay mocha ng ‘how about you, do you intend to do more research?’ Lol
Vanz Mc Lean remarked: “Do more research! Big word!!! English na yun para maintindihan nila… Nice one Ms. Mocha tama lang na sabihan at isiksik nila sa utak nila na bias ang media sa pinas kaya sa social media nlng sila mag base at sa FB page mo.”
oNin Edera said: “What are we going to expect in International media , I feel bad because Philippines have been fooled by the LP’s. Yelloshits are the big Impact why Philippines still suffering right now !
