A lot of people are wondering why the ‘six feet under‘ is being implied to everyone who’s going to be buried. Are you one of those people who are wondering why dead people should be buried six feet under the ground? If you’re one of them, then you have to read this.
This tradition started back in 1655 in England. Bubinic Plague hits the area of London and the mayor told everyone that burying people should be six feet under the ground to prevent the virus from spreading out to the uninfected people.
But then, nowadays, the laws aren’t being followed in some countries around the world because some of the countries have their own way of burying people.
Some just needed 18 inches of soil on top of the coffins. It was also revealed that there is no universal measurement of burying dead people.
